Our Mission
Praxis Youth is an Australian not-for-profit committed to reducing re-incarceration among justice-involved young people. We deliver housing-first support, case-led mentoring and community based interventions so that young people can build stable, productive futures.
Who We Serve
Our programs are designed for young people aged 16-25 in the Greater Sydney area who are justice-involved or at risk of incarceration. Eligible participants include those currently detained with a known release date or those in the community who have been previously arrested, detained or sentenced.

Praxis Youth is guided by housing first, lived experience, evidence-based practice, cultural safety and partnership. Our work acknowledges that stable housing is foundational for engagement in education and employment. We prioritise consistent relationships to build trust, and we collaborate with community, government and volunteers to amplify impact.
